I understand you have a lot going on and to worry about. However I wanted to express that if or when you start putting up new stories here, I for one will be here to read it. I'm sure others feel the same. Take all the time you need, I can wait.

I'll also second more compilations. I know you released Sterlings through Lulu, other books and maybe even ebook versions would be nice. Travellog/reunion would be a prime candidate naturally. Of course you could create a compiled version of Aimee too.

I have a policy against putting up advertising on existing sites. I'm just not going to do it. I'm not that desperate.

hey with money being tight and all have you thought of putting advertising up on here i know i hate seeing ads all over the place but many of us who enjoy your works would gladly help out by clicking on links from here even if you just do google adwords on the main page or at the bottom of your stories
also maybe you could put some of your more polished stories into volumes though one of the publish your self companies

Writing's a funny ol' thing... My last finished story was over two years ago, and I'd been plodding along, making bits and pieces of progress on a dozen or so different projects, then boom. I had one idea, not really any sort of epiphany or flash, just the urge to have some /characters/ sit back and rethink their situation. Circumstances had changed a bit for the worse, from their perspective, since the beginning of the plot, and my characters are /supposed/ to be reasonably intelligent, so I just had them realize and try to adapt...

Three days and twenty-five thousand words later, my third full novel was finished and posted. All it took, I guess, was the right starting point for the rest of the events I'd wanted to put into the story, while a previously-planned interim point was what was blocking them from occurring. o.O Yep, a funny ol' thing...

I actually had a hard time while I was at home as well. I was alone most of the time but found myself easily distracted by trivial tasks and it was really hard to just focus on creativity when I was feeling very unsettled.

Oh man, now I keep thinking of Shatner in a green fox/centaur suit, doing some sort of fake martial arts.... I need brain bleach.
